A Caddie in Your Pocket, or on Your Belt

Not many of us get to play with a caddie, which is too bad because it is a great, productive pleasure — the confluence of two trying to master a golf course together.

Can modern technology somehow replicate the caddie experience? No, it cannot. Can it do more than maybe you suspected? You bet.

Enter the Golf Buddy Voice, a tiny, rectangular GPS device not much bigger than a quarter, that measures and speaks the appropriate yardage — in several languages — whenever you need it. Clip it to your hat or belt, press a button as you stand over your ball in the fairway or the rough, and you will hear the yardage to the middle, front and back of the green of your course.
