Preloaded maps!
The Garmin Nuvi 610 comes preloaded with City Navigator NT map data for the UK  and offers very simple navigation indeed. Simply enter the full postcode of your chosen destination using the sunlight-readable colour screen with touch-screen menu and you are away! The 4.3" wide-screen will detail your journey using street level mapping until you reach your destination whilst clear anc concise voice instructions are given throughout, ensuring that your eyes remain on the road at all times! 
As well as pre-installed maps, the Nuvi 610 comes with an extensive list of Points of Interest (POIs) which will lead you from everything from restaurants to cinemas, from golf courses to petrol stations allowing you to find whatever you need at the touch of a button!

Everybody is aware of the consequences of using your mobile phone whilst driving, so to avoid picking up unnecessary points on your license, the NUVI 610 sat nav comes with integrated Bluetooth which pairs up with your mobile when you enter the vehicle. With this great feature, you are able to make and receive calls through your sat nav as you drive by using the built in microphone and speaker system. When a call comes in, voice navigation pauses, giving priority to your call, whilst your route map and visual directions stay up to date on the 4.3" screen. You can even look up numbers from your personalised mobile phone book or from your phone's call history log making staying in touch as easy as possible!

As with the other Garmin sat nav systems on the market, the Nuvi 610 looks sleek, slim and is small enough to fit in your pocket or purse. It features a rechargeable battery that will last you a good 8 hours or so, making navigation easy whether it be by car or by foot!

The Sat Nav Warehouse opinion;
Pretty much a direct competitor with the Snooper Syrius PLUS S600 device featuring the same sized screen, Bluetooth and similar features. The Nuvi 610 does benefit from the TMC traffic master feature option however these TMC programmes are never as accurate as they claim to be and if we were choosing between the two systems, the Syrius S600 would win because if it's superior speed camera information.
