Advanced Technology 

The Snooper S6-R was the first camera locater of it's type in that it offers a top of the range radar and laser detector as well as a GPS antenna which enables the system to monitor your position in relation to the speed cameras downloaded from the Enigma speed camera database.
The head unit displays all the information necessary to keep you aware of your surroundings and has two devices that plug into it  to complete the package. The S100 RLD (pictured) is approximately the size of a computer mouse and can be mounted either on the dashboard or in the front grille of the vehicle in order to detect mobile radar or laser. In addition to this, a powerful external GPS antenna can be mounted on the outside of the vehicle or once again on the dash to pick up GPS signal.

 

Accurate speed camera data through your phoneline!

Most GPS speed camera location systems require the use of a PC in order to connect to a speed camera database and populate it's memory with speed camera data. The S6-R Neo has an integrated modem which means you need only connect the head unit to your phoneline and it will download all the speed cameras in minutes to the memory!
The Enigma speed camera database was pioneered and is still maintained by Snooper and boasts the ability to log any new speed camera within 48 hours of it's installation - impressive stuff! This gives Snooper over the rivals who generally struggle to match the accuracy of Snooper.

Comprehensive camera alert information!

As you can see from the illustration, the Snooper S6-R Neo will alert you to a number of details about the speed trap you are approaching. The type of camera is displayed in the centre of the screen as well as the distance from the camera, current speed limit, your speed and the road name or number where the camera is located. Your attention id drawn to the camera alert by a series of bleeps.

Packed with intelligent features! 

If the level of detail that the S6-R Neo provides wasn't enough to impress you the the vast array of features and functions will do.

Auto Mute: If you don't want the continual beeping as you approach the speed camera, smart mute will automatically change the audible tone to a softer level after a few seconds.

Smart Mute: Sometimes you don't want to be alerted to an upcoming speed camera if you are below the limit of if you are crawling along in traffic for example. The Smart Mute function will only alert you to a speed camera audibly if you are travelling above the speed limit. The visual alerts remain for your information.

Speed Limit Alert: This feature allows you to program in a specific speed limit into the S6-R Neo memory. You will then be alerted every time you go over this limit, for example - if you don't want to go over 75mph, simply program in 75 as the limit and every time you reach that speed you receive a warning.
