TRUCKMATE has the answers!
This unique software will create a route based on the attributes of your particular vehicle. Simply tell the unit the size and weight of your vehicle, plus the type of load if applicable and Snooper's TRUCKMATE software will calculate a safe, truck friendly route. Routes will be calculated based on roads with adequate width and height, avoiding roads with low bridges or weight restrictions plus many other hazards.

Multi-route technology
As well as being the most stylish and easy to use systems on todays roads, Snooper units pack a punch when it comes to performance as well. The "Multi-route" function on the Truckmate allows you to calculate a route around up to ten different destinations just by adding the postcodes. As we know, technology moves very quickly and thankfully Snooper recognise this as well. This is why, until 2009, you will be entitled to FREE of charge software updates on your TRUCKMATE. To ensure you are never out of touch with todays roads, Snooper are constantly adding truck verified roads to their mapping database and this is detailed on the maps below. With each software update, more and more of these roads will become TRUCKMATE verified until every single road is competed by the end of 2008.

Bluetooth Hands-free Technology
Staying the right side of the law on the road is key when you drive for a living so the Syrius S600 Truckmate benefits from the latest Bluetooth technology to allow you to make and receive phonecall from your current mobile through the Syrius and it's touch screen. The built-in mic and speakers allow for hands free communication and there is also an additional extension microphone available for an additional £9.99 should you require it.

    

Award winning Speed Camera Technology
Access to the Enigma speed camera database is FREE with the Truckmate and as with all of Snooper's navigation systems, the Syrius S600 Truckmate benefits from their award winning Enigma speed camera database, which is constantly updated with new speed camera data. You will have access to this data 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to download information onto your system through any internet enabled PC ensuring that you are fully up-to date with where the speed trap hazards are located. The Syrius S600 Truckmate provides advances warning of ALL known fixed speed traps including the traditional Gatso and average speed cameras on the motorway. In addition to fixed data, the Enigma database contains the locations of "Riskzones" i.e. areas well known for mobile laser speed trap activity.

Advanced Street Level Mapping
Once again, as with all Snooper systems, the Syrius S600 TRUCKMATE uses the best street level mapping available. Whether you choose the UK & Ireland version or the European version from the drop-down menu above, the S600 Truckmate will give you turn by turn, accurate voice prompts and 2D / 3D display. Full postcode search is supported on the S600 Truckmate thanks to data provided by the Ordnance Survey making it the most comprehensive search of it's kind.

The Sat Nav Warehouse Opinion;
Yet another impressive first from Snooper! It is difficult to compare this system to anything else on the market because there really isn't anything out there currently other than perhaps Snooper's Commercial Vehicle Assist software which is available on their other systems. The S600 is one of the biggest selling units that Snooper do so when you add the Truckmate software then if you do drive a large vehicle, this along with the S2000 Proline are great systems. We're told that the Truckmate software will be available for the rest of Western Europe and you will be able to download that as and when it's available. All in all, a handy product that could get you out of a pickle in avoiding non-truck-friendly routes!
